Preparing for next-generation geohazards

My research aims to improve infrastructure and community resilience to increasingly frequent and severe natural hazards through: advancing the state-of-the-art in geotechnical site characterization and modeling techniques for multi-hazard applications, equipping future engineers to tackle the big challenges of tomorrow, and increasing the impact of scientific research by engaging the engineering community with decision-makers and the public. Often, this work is interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary, and in collaboration with communities, practitioners, and the public sector to develop solutions to prepare for, withstand, and recover from natural hazard events. Please reach out if you are interested in collaborating with my research team!
